Be an Army missile commander! The Estes Patriot Starter Set features an accurate scale-like model rocket of the U.S. Army surface-air defense missile. Estes designers captured the same intercept point flight characteristics of the Armys first line of defense missile in a size anyone can fly from their local park or model rocket launch field.

The Patriot rocket is factory assembled to mil-spec requirements, decorated in Army colors and is 18 inches (45.7 cm) tall. This miniature Scud-busting rocket launches on powerful standard Estes engines and will easily reach heights over 600 (183 m) feet. Minor assembly includes prepping the parachute and setting up the Porta-Pad II Launch Pad. The Electron Beam Launch controller uses four AA alkaline batteries. Engines and batteries sold separately. Recommended for ages 10 and up with adult supervision for those under 12. Recommended engines are B4-4, B6-4 or C6-5.
